Total bags Medal at 2008 Oil & Gas Games February 20, 2008
Total's medal tally at the ongoing 12th Edition of the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry Games (NOGIG) increased to four after the company's contingent at the Games won a silver medal in the 8-Ball Snooker and another silver and bronze medals in the Swimming event. The Men's Table Tennis Team had earlier won a silver medal following their finals with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) team.
Total is sponsoring all the medals to be awarded at this year’s edition of the Games. General Manager, Public Affairs, Mr. Pauly Enujuba who presented the medals for the games to the LOC reminded participants that the Oil & Gas Games were conceived to foster friendship and sportsmanship in the industry. Mr. Enujuba said the medals have been customised to reflect the philosophy behind the Games.
Receiving the medals on behalf of the LOC, the Chairman of the Medals Sub-Committee, Mr. Paul Ebele thanked Total for the sponsorship and support received towards successful hosting of this year’s NOGIG.
