OML58 Upgrade donates computers to Nigeria Immigration Service JANUARY 26, 2010
OML 58 Upgrade Project has strengthened the cordial relationship between Total and the Nigeria Immigration Service with the donation of computers and accessories to the Service.
A delegation led by the DGM (OML 58 Upgrade), Mr Nicolas Gilg made the donation of items comprising a Laptop, 4 Desktop Computers and 4 Printers to the Rivers State Command of the Service on Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Other members of the delegation were Mrs Miyene Tom-Davies, Mrs Esther Edward and Mr Fabian Di- Donato.
A high powered team led by the Comptroller of Immigration Services, Rivers State Command, Dr Emmanuel Brasca Udochukwu Ifeadi was on hand to welcome the OML 58 Upgrade delegation. The Immigration team also included the Deputy Comptroller in Charge of Administration and Finance, A. W. Gambo; Asistant Comptroller in Charge of Operations, A. B. Bello; Assistant Comptroller in Charge of CERPAC Unit, Mrs A. D. Hornby; Assistant Comptroller in Charge of Investigation, G. B. Dilosi; Superintendent of Immigration Service and Second-in-Command of ECOWAS & African Affairs, Mrs Theo Owunna; Deputy Superintendent in Charge of Provost Unit, G. A. Dakena and Command PRO, C. C. Nnamchi.
Dr Ifeadi thanked the company for consistently assisting the Immigration Service as he catalogued several instances of the company’s kind gestures to his Command.
“We are indeed showing our depth of gratitude to Total for all the assistance we have been receiving from them. This one is just an addendum to all the things you have been doing for us”, he said as he promised that the Command would always give full attention to the immigration needs of the company.
Presenting the items, the DGM (OML58 Upgrade), Mr Gilg said the gesture was a mark of the cordial relationship between the company and the Service. He highlighted the benefits of the OML 58 upgrade programme to the country saying it would help meet the country’s aspirations in the areas of domestic gas supply and power generation.
