UniversitÉ Total Hosts Lecture and Interaction with Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka March 7, 2008
Université Total, in partnership with DIG-Afrique and Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria has organized a Lecture by Nigeria's Nobel Literature Laureate, Wole Soyinka at the Total Auditorium in Paris on Friday, 7th March 2008.
The lecture and interaction with Total's Top 25 will take place in the morning while the main Lecture at the auditorium will take place in the afternoon. More than 160 people have been scheduled to attend.
Scheduled to attend are Total's E&P President, Mr. Yves-Louis Darricarrere; Total’s E&P President, Africa, Mr. Jean Privey, Total’s Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Communication, Mr. Francois Viaud; Managing Director / Chief Executive, Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria, Mr. Jacques Marraud des Grottes; Nigeria’s Federal Minister of State for Petroleum, Mr. Odein Ajumogobia; key aides of the minister, officials of Nigeria's embassy in Paris, other Nigerians and friends of Nigeria in Paris and environs.
Mr. Marraud des Grottes will introduce the Nobel Laureate to the audience while Mr. Abiodun Afolabi and the Executive Director, External Affairs, Mr. John Addeh will make presentations on the Total Group Worldwide and Total-in-Africa Strategies and characteristics to the visitor between the first and second Lectures.
